Belarus’ farming machinery export up 34.6% in Jan-May to 48,600 units

Belarus increased export of agricultural machinery in January-May 2021 by 34.6% year on year to 48,600 units, the National Statistics Committee of Belarus (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus exported agricultural machinery at an average price of $1,793 in Jan-May 2021 (+4.9% yoy). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus shipped 45.1 thousand units (+28.5%) at an average price of $1.84 thousand (+10.7%) per unit to the CIS countries; other foreign states - 3.5 thousand units (3.4 times more) at an average price of $1.187 (minus 64.6%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Exports of tractors rose by 23.2% to 23 thousand units in January-May. Belarus shipped tractors at an average price of $11.543 thousand (+15.3%) apiece. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus shipped 20 thousand tractors (23.2%) to the CIS states at an average price of $11.202 (+20.8%); other foreign countries - 3 thousand tractors (23.8%) at an average price of $13.81 thousand (minus 7.7%) apiece. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ export of passenger cars increased by 99.3% to 22.7 thousand units. In monetary terms, exports rose by 2.2 times to $136.7 million. The average export price of a car in January-May 2021 was $6,012 (+9.5%). Belarus shipped 22.4 thousand passenger cars (+97.1%) to the CIS states at an average price of $5.745 (+10.2%) per unit; non-CIS countries - 0.3 thousand units (6.4 times more) at an average price of $22.659 (minus 63.2%).
