Belarus’ farm exports up 4.9% in Jan-Nov 2020 to $5.3bn – Agriculture Ministry

Belarus’ farm exports increased by 4.9% year on year in January-November 2019 to $5.3 billion, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> The export of dairy products increased by 3.5%; meat and meat products – by 7.2%. Belarus supplied farm products to 111 countries (99 in January-November 2019). </p> <p> </p> <p> The Russian Federation accounted for $3.9 billion (74.3% of total exports); CIS member states (except Russia) – $622.4 million (11.8%); countries outside the CIS – $727.2 million (13.8%). </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the ministry, exports of agricultural products and foods to China increased in January-November 2020 by 110% compared with January-November 2019 to $238.7 million.
