Belarus extends temporary licences on portland cement import for three months
<p> MINSK, Aug 21 - PrimePress. Belarus is extending for three months temporary licences for portland cement (EEU FEACN Code 2523 29 000 0) imported from countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), in accordance with government resolution #491 of Aug 18, 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Companies importing portland cement will have to apply for single-use import licences to the Ministry for Antirust Control and Trade. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus previously introduced temporary import licences for portland cement for six months, in accordance with government resolution #459 of July 9, 2019. Subsequently, the practice was extended for another 6 months in accordance with government resolution #67 of Feb 3, 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus earlier introduced temporary licences (effective since June 1 till November 30, 2014) for cement, polished plate glass and glass tare imported from countries other than Customs Union member states.
