Belarus’ domestic debt up 11.92% in Jan 2021 to Br15.423bn

Belarus’ internal debt increased by 11.92% on the month in January 2020 to 15.423 billion Belarusian rubles ($5.93 billion) as of February 1, 2020 by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, Belarus’ Finance Ministry said in a report. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounted for 75.39% in Jan 2020 (71.67% in Dec 2020), short-term debt for 0.0002% (0.0002%) and the debt secured by the government for 24.61% (28.33%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ internal debt grew by 24% year on year in 2020 to Br13.78 billion ($5.3bn).
