Belarus’ domestic debt down 0.51% in Aug 2021 to Br15.068bn

Belarus’ internal debt decreased by 0.51% on the month in Aug 2021 to Br15.068 billion ($6.01 billion) as of 1 Sep 2021 by the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standards, Belarus’ Finance Ministry said in a report. </p> <p> </p> <p> Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounted for 74.91% in Aug 2021 (75.89% in July 2021), short-term debt for 0.0002% (0.0002%) and the debt secured by the government for 25.09% (24.11%). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarus’ internal debt grew by 24% year on year in 2020 to Br13.78 billion ($5.494bn).
