Belarus’ crude output up 1.9% to 424,000 tonnes in Jan-Mar 2020

Belorusneft (Rechitsa, Gomel Oblast)–Belarus’ sole producer of crude oil–says its crude output increased 0.7% year on year in Jan-Mar 2020 to 424,000 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> In March alone, crude output was up 3.5% year on year to 149,000 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> As reported, Belarus plans to increase crude oil output by 1.18% year on year in 2020 to 1.7 million tonnes. In 2019, Belarus increased crude output by 1.19% year on year to 1.69 million tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belorusneft was founded in 1966. The company specializes in exploration work, oil extraction, gas processing and offers a wide range of seismic exploration operations. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belorusneft provides oil extraction service in Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela and Ecuador, facilitates crude supplies to Belarusian on refineries on a give-and-take basis.
