Belarus’ companies report 2.8% increase in effective debts in Jan-Sep 2021 to Br162.78bn

The total debt of Belarusian enterprises amounted to Br162.78 billion ($64.102 billion at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) as of Oct 1, 2021, up 2.8% year to date, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> This includes a 0.1% year-to-date increase in overdue debt in Jan-Sep 2021 to Br10.224bn ($4.026bn, $1 - Br2.5394) as of Oct 1, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Accounts payable totalled Br67.916 billion ($26.745bn) as of Oct 1, 2021, up 10.4% year to date. Overdue accounts payable amounted to Br7.929 billion ($3.122bn) as of Oct 1, 2021, up 6.6%. </p> <p> </p> <p> External accounts payable in January-September 2021 increased by 1.3% year on year to Br13.229 billion ($5.21 billion), including overdue loans - decreased by 0.3% to Br1.015 billion ($399.7 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> Credit and loan debts decreased by 2.1% in Jan-Sep 2021 to Br94.864 billion ($37.357bn) as of Oct 1, 2021. Debts in arrears totalled Br2.295 billion ($903.76bn), down 17.2% year to date. </p> <p> </p> <p> Accounts receivable of Belarusian enterprises increased by 8.7% year to date in January-September 2021, up to Br54.486 billion ($21.456 billion).
