Belarus changes list of sites which must have payment terminals

The list of facilities where payment terminals must be available has been changed in Belarus, in accordance with joint resolution No. 203/4 of the government and the National Bank of Belarus of 7 April 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> The document was published on the national legal Internet portal on 9 April. </p> <p> </p> <p> The document says, the list of objects, in which legal persons and individual entrepreneurs are required to install and use payment terminals, includes the facilities of public services (except for the public service facilities with the number of employees, directly providing household services, of not more than one person per shift). Previously, exceptions were sites located in rural settlements with the number of workers directly providing personal services not exceeding three persons in a single shift, as well as public service facilities with the number of workers directly providing personal services not exceeding one person per shift. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also terminals should be installed in cash desks of passenger terminals, airports, railway stations and railway stations in case of service of 50 passengers per day and presence of cellular mobile telephones, earlier - in case of service of more than 250 passengers per day and presence of communication lines. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the resolution, terminals must be installed in service facilities associated with the organization of hunting, temporary accommodation of hunters, as well as in which lumber trade is carried out, as well as in service facilities associated with the organization of fishing carried out by fishermen to meet their need for active recreation and (or) receiving fishing products without the purpose of generating income, including spear fishing.
