Belarus cancels two-week quarantine rule for visitors arriving from 35 countries

The Health Ministry has loosened quarantine requirements for persons entering Belarus en route fr om certain countries. </p> <p> </p> <p> The ministry says it has shortened the list of countries wh ere COVID-19 cases are registered, which effectively means that the mandatory 14-day self-isolation requirement will no longer be relevant for entrants from 35 countries, including Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, China. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Persons arriving from the above countries are not obliged to stay in self-isolation within 14 days from the day of arrival in the Republic of Belarus. At the same time, foreign nationals, arriving in Belarus, are required to have a negative PCR test result at the moment of crossing of the state border of Belarus – the must be made no later than two days before the date of crossing the border,” reads the report.
