Belarus’ average monthly wage to reach Br1,551 in 2022 – EconMin

The average salary in Belarus will amount to Br1,551 in 2022 ($620.43 at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus), Minister of Economy of Belarus Alexander Chervyakov told journalists on 21 September before the session of the Council of Ministers. </p> <p> </p> <p> “One of the objectives for next year is household income growth. Household incomes are expected to increase by 2%. At the same time, the average nominal salary will be Br1,551 in the economy as a whole, and more than Br1,600 ($640) in the real sector of the economy,” Chervyakov said, as reported by the government’s press-service. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, as of 1 January 2021, the average gross nominal wage of employees was Br1,474.6 ($589.86), while as of 1 August it was Br1,471.7 ($588.7).
