Belarus authorizes 40 companies for alcohol import in 2021
<p> MINSK, Dec 21 - PrimePress. Forty Belarusian companies have been granted the right to import alcoholic beverages in 2021 (38 in 2020). The exclusive right is given to legal entities that win tenders held by a special interdepartmental commission at least once a year. </p> <p> </p> <p> The list of tender winners is approved by the head of state. Monitoring of the import of alcoholic beverages by suppliers is entrusted to the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade. </p> <p> </p> <p> The exclusive right of the state does not apply to the import of elite alcoholic beverages, which can be imported by companies, the statutory funds of which amount to at least €250,000.
