Belarus’ Asset Management Agency to buy Br20.393m debt of fishery farms
<p> MINSK, Aug 13 - PrimePress. The Belarusian Asset Management Agency will buy assets of five fishery farms in the amount of their outstanding loan debt in the amount of over Br20.393 million ($8.118 million at the exchange rate of National Bank of Belarus) as of January 1, 2021, in accordance with government resolution No.458 of Aug 10, 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> These are the loans granted by Belagroprombank in 2012-2019 to Liuban Fishery Farm (Minsk Oblast), Krasnaya Sloboda Fishery Farm (Minsk Oblast), Beloye Experimental Fishery Factory (Gomel Oblast), Tremlya Fishery Farm (Gomel Oblast) and ALBA Fishery Farm (Minsk Oblast), as well as on loans granted by Belarus Development Bank in 2012 to Liuban Fishery Farm and ALBA Fishery Farm. </p> <p> </p> <p> The resolution will come into force after its official publication. </p> <p> </p> <p> Asset Management Agency OJSC was founded by the State Property Committee of Belarus (57.5964% share in the authorized capital) and the oblast executive committees (42.4036%) on August 3, 2016. The agency is a special financial institution that deals with loans and borrowings to facilitate the financial recovery of agricultural organizations through deep restructuring of their credit debts and reducing the financial burden on them.
