Belarus approves new regulatory framework for Council of Ministers

A new edition of the regulatory framework for the Council of Ministers of Belarus has been approved in accordance with Government Resolution #710 of Dec 7, 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> The document was made public on the National Legal Internet Portal on December 10. </p> <p> </p> <p> The new regulatory framework no longer defines the Council of Ministers as the government of the country. </p> <p> </p> <p> The new regulations stipulate that the heads of public bodies must report to the Council of Ministers within two days on the instructions they have received from the President and send him reports on the implementation of the instructions. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Prime Minister must immediately receive documents received by the Council of Ministers containing the President's instructions, and within 24 hours documents containing instructions also containing state secrets.
