Belarus’ 47 top profit makers to deduct Br35.7m to National Development Fund

Forty-seven Belarusian highly profitable organizations will transfer part of their profits in the amount of Br35.7 million ($13.967 million at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus) to the state targeted budgetary Fund for National Development based on their performance in the first half of 2020, as per Council of Ministers’ resolution No.652 of November 16, 2020, the government’s press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> The list includes enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Ministries of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, Health, Taxes and Dues, Industry, Telecommunication and Informatization, Transport and Communications, Energy, the State Military-Industrial Committee, State Property Committee, Belgospischeprom and Belneftekhim Groups. </p> <p> </p> <p> Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman JSC is to transfer Br26.481 million ($10.36 million); Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange – Br1.73 million ($676,865); Minsk Sparkling Wines Factory – Br1.58 million ($618,177). </p> <p> </p> <p> The list of highly profitable enterprises, which transfer part of their profits to the National Development Fund, is made by the government on coordination with the president.
