Belagroprombank’s net profit up 51.3% yoy to Br38.654m in H1 2021

Belagroprombank increased its net profit by 51.3 times year on year in January-June 2021 to Br38.654 million ($15.37 million at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus), according to the data published on the website of the National Bank. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belagroprombank’s net interest income reduced by 20.6% yoy in January-June 2021 to Br135.027 million ($53.69 million, $1/$2.5148). The bank increased net fee and commission income by 21.4% to Br94.335 million ($37.51 million); reduced net income on foreign exchange operations by 28.4% to Br21.51 million ($8.55 million); increased net income from securities operations by 3.6 times to Br5.994 million ($2.38 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belagroprombank’s total assets increased by 4.5% year to date in January-June 2021 to Br13.214 billion ($5.25 billion): loans to customers down 1.7% to Br7.532 billion ($3 billion); assets in securities up 6.6% to Br3.298 billion ($1.3 billion); funds in other banks up 2.1 times to Br505.009 million ($200.82 million); funds in the National Bank of Belarus up 17.1% to Br1.055 billion ($419.52 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belagroprombank decreased its liabilities by 5.2% yoy in January-June 2021 to Br11.388 billion ($4.53 billion). </p> <p> </p> <p> Belagroprombank increased its equity capital in January-June 2021 by 0.3% to Br1.826 billion ($126.79 billion), the authorized capital – unchanged at Br1.238 billion ($492.29 million).
