Bank BelVEB signs cooperation agreement with Changshu Silk Road Import Export Trade Co.
<p> MINSK, Apr 5 - PrimePress. Bank BelVEB OJSC has entered into a multi-sector cooperation agreement with Changshu Silk Road Import Export Trade Co., Ltd., a major Chinese importer of Belarusian beef, the bank’s press service informs. </p> <p> </p> <p> The agreement is implemented within the framework of Bank BelVEB’s concept of cooperation with Chinese partners for 2020-2022, which was adopted to foster cooperation between the bank and companies involved in foreign economic activities with China. Earlier, on 24 March 2021, Bank BelVEB Holding opened a China Desk (an office responsible for servicing companies with Chinese capital) in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the agreement, Changshu Silk Road Import Export Trade Co., Ltd. will, among other things, assist Bank BelVEB clients in organizing sales channels (including online marketplaces) and exposition of Belarusian goods in major Chinese cities, as well as assess the reliability of potential Chinese partners. </p> <p> </p> <p> Bank BelVEB was registered by the National Bank of Belarus on December 12, 1991. Russia’s Vnesheconombank holds a 97.52% stake in Bank BelVEB; Minsk City Territorial State Property Fund – 2.29%. BelVEB belongs to the Tier 1 Group of banks. End </p>
