The average nominal accrued wage in Belarus decreased by 0.18% month on month in Nov 2021 to Br1,476.3 ($587 at the official rate of the National Bank of Belarus), the National Statistical Committee of Belarus (Belstat) reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> In real terms (adjusted for the increase in consumer prices), the average grew 2.6% year on year in November 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Regionally, November’s highest average salary was in Minsk City at Вr2,070.7 ($823.37), up 3% month on month; the lowest average salary was seen in Mogilev Oblast at Br1,203.7 ($478.63), down 1.32% month on month. </p> <p> </p> <p> In Nov 2021, the average wage in manufacturing industries stood at Br1,568.8 ($623.8), up 1% month on month; construction – Br1,556.1 ($618.75), down 1.04%; fishery, forestry, agriculture - Br1,129.8 ($449.24), down 0.49%; retail trade – Br1,185 ($471.19), up 0.26%; education – Br992.9 ($394.8) up 1.32%; healthcare – Br1,374.8 ($546.66), down 3.56%. </p> <p> </p> <p> To compare, the average monthly wage in Belarus’ IT industry in Nov 2021 stood at Br5,736 ($2,280), up 2.48% month on month; banking and finance - Br2,186.6 ($869.46), down 7.14%.
