<p> MINSK, Oct 22 - PrimePress. The Turkey Wealth Fund (Türkiye Varlık Fonu) is due to purchase from Turkcell İletişim Hizmetleri AŞ its 26.2% stake in Belarus’ telecom operator life:). Belarus’ Ministry for Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) has approved the transaction, according to a report from the law firm Sorainen, which acted as a consultant in the process of obtaining MART’s approval. </p> <p> </p> <p> The transaction shall be implemented through a number of agreements with parties, including Sweden’s transnational telecommunications operator Telia, the international investment business LetterOne, and the Turkish industrial and commercial conglomerate Çukurova Holding. </p> <p> </p> <p> Established in August 2016, the Turkey Wealth Fund makes strategic investments in Turkey and has a portfolio of 20 companies from 8 different sectors, two licenses and real estate. </p> <p> </p> <p> BeST CJSC (life:)) was licensed to provide communication services on March 24, 2005, and began commercial operation of its network on December 21, 2005. The provision of services under the life:) brand began on December 3, 2008. The operator has been rendering 3G-based services since November 2, 2009, and LTE-based services since August 2016.
