Belarus raises motor fuel prices by 0.45%-0.53% Jul 13, 2021
MINSK, Jul 13 - PrimePress. Belarus raised motor fuel prices on July 13, 2021. The retail price of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol is up 0.5% to Br2.01 ($0.78 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per litre; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 0.53% to Br1.91 ($0.74), AI-98-K5-Euro – by 0.45% to Br2.23 ($0.87); diesel fuel – by 0.51% to Br2.01 ($0.78) per litre, Belneftekhim state petrochemical concern reports.<br> <br> “Taking into account the analysis of the situation on the oil market and adjacent markets for petroleum products and in line with Belneftekhim’s strategy of restrained indexation of motor fuel prices, the retail price cap for petrol stations is changed from July 13, 2021,” reads the statement.<br> <br> This has been the 21st adjustment in motor fuel prices in Belarus since early 2021. This year, the price of 1 litre of AI-95-K5-Euro petrol has increased by 11.7%; AI-98-K5-Euro – by 10.4%; AI-92-K5-Euro – by 12.4%; diesel fuel – by 11.7%.<br> <br> Motor fuel prices in Belarus changed 16 times in 2020 to a 3.4% increase on average.
