UNDP, Belarus’ Economy Ministry, EU invite financial institutions to present solutions to increase availability of microfinance in Belarus regions

The UNDP and the Ministry of Economy of Belarus, with the financial support of the European Union (EU), are running a call for proposals to improve accessibility of microfinance services for businesses in the regions. Information about the tender is available on the website of the Republican Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> The tender targets financial institutions interested in implementing a set of measures to improve access to microfinance services at the local level to boost the development of the micro, small and medium enterprise sector in Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> The winner of the tender will be reimbursed for expenses related to the implementation of the solutions presented. </p> <p> </p> <p> The closing date for proposals is August 18, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> The organizers expect that the winner of the tender will create an infrastructure to increase the availability of microfinance services, provide advisory services in the sphere of microfinance, conduct informational and educational activities to promote microfinance services in the pilot areas of the project.
