Russian FinMin wants to cut duty-free goods limit for entries to EEU

The Russian Finance Ministry has suggested reducing to €50 and 10 kilograms the duty-free limit on goods imported for personal use for repeated entries to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) during a one-month period. </p> <p> </p> <p> Under the current rules, the duty-free limit on goods that persons entering EEU countries can bring along stands at €500 and 25 kilograms (the same limit is effective for unaccompanied luggage). </p> <p> </p> <p> The Finance Ministry suggests keeping unchanged the limit for the first entry during a month, but reduce the duty-free limit for the subsequent entries.
