NBB holds deposit auction 3 Nov 2021
<p> MINSK, Nov 3 – PrimePress. The National Bank of Belarus (NBB) conducted on 3 Nov 2021 deposit auction No.389 worth Br1 billion (Br408.864m at the NBB rate) in the form of an interest rate auction for a 7-day period, the NBB said in a press-release. </p> <p> </p> <p> The auction accepted 24 bids from 12 banks offering interest rates within the range between 1% and 3% per annum worth a total of Br3.465 million ($1.416bn). </p> <p> </p> <p> The weighted average interest rate was set at 1.42% per annum, with deposit volume limited to Br1 billion. 6 bids of 4 participants were satisfied. </p> <p> </p> <p> Also on 3 November, credit auction #759 was held in the form of a seven-day interest rate auction, which was declared void due to the absence of bids.
