Naftan’s sales revenue down 15.45% in 2020 to Br6.52m

Naftan oil refinery (Novopolotsk, Vitebsk Oblast) says sales revenue decreased by 15.45% year on year in 2020 to Br6.52 billion ($2.538bn). </p> <p> </p> <p> According to Naftan’s annual report, the oil refinery did not have a net profit in 2020, just as it was the case in 2019. </p> <p> </p> <p> As of Jan 1, 2021, Naftan’s shares were held by 10,601 shareholders (10,612 in 2019), including one legal entity. The state owns 99.831% of the company. </p> <p> </p> <p> Launched in 1963, Naftan is Belarus’ largest refinery and one of the largest in Europe. In 2008, Naftan incorporated another Belarusian refinery Polimir. 99.83% of the company belongs to the state. Naftan is capable of producing about 400,000 tonnes of diesel fuel per year.
