Lukashenko puts Novodvorskoye basalt & tuff deposit on concession list

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on 13 May 2021 signed Ordinance #182 which puts the basalt and tuff deposit “Novodvorskoye” (Pinsk district, Brest Oblast) on the list of facilities proposed for transfer into concession for the purpose of involving the deposit in industrial development, the president’s press-service said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> Reportedly, the reserves of basalt in the deposit amount to 83.2 million tonnes, tuff - 80.9 million tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> “These raw materials can be used for production of synthetic fibres, reinforcing, composite and construction materials.
