Lukashenko changes status of Entrepreneurship Development Council

The Entrepreneurship Development Council will change its status from a consultative body under the auspices of the President of Belarus to a consultative body under the auspices of the Council of Ministers. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed ordinance #163 to that effect on 26 April. </p> <p> </p> <p> From now on the composition of the Entrepreneurship Development Council will be approved by the Prime Minister of Belarus. The council will be presided by the deputy prime minister in charge of economic issues. </p> <p> </p> <p> The ordinance will facilitate the process of making dictions and optimize the procedure of appointing new members.
