Great Stone Industrial Park, Minsk National Airport to work on transport logistics

The Chinese-Belarusian Great Stone Industrial Park (Minsk Oblast) and the Minsk National Airport will jointly consider initiatives to conjugate air, railway and motor transport in the logistics area of the Park, as per the memorandum of cooperation signed by the parties, the Great Stone’s press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> They will also cooperate in the construction of transport and logistics infrastructure, attract investments for that, set up transport links and build infrastructure in the adjacent areas. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Great Stone Park is located in the area of the Minsk National International Airport in the area of 112.5 sq. km. The special preferential legal regime is granted to the Park until 2062. Its residents mainly focus on electronics, biomedicine, fine chemistry and mechanical engineering. The declared investment for residents is $5 million (at least $500,000 for a research project). The land in the Park can be privatized. Sixty-eight companies from 15 countries are registered as residents of the park, with total declared investments of over $1.2 billion. </p> <p> </p> <p> Minsk Airport is Belarus’ first international airport certified to meet ISO 9001 requirements. The airport provides a comprehensive parcel of services for 15 airlines flying on 55 routs. End </p>
