The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is preparing for ratification an agreement on mutual admission to placement and circulation of securities at on-exchange trading in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). This agreement will expand cooperation opportunities to attract financial and investment resources, EEC Financial Policy Department Director Arman Khachatryan said during the session of the advisory committee on financial markets under the EEC Collegium on March 19, </p> <p> </p> <p> As reported by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Khachatryan said the mutual admission of securities will be ensured under the following conditions: if the securities issue is registered in the Union State in order established by its legislation and the issuer’s securities issue is included in the quotation list of the highest category at the stock exchange. </p> <p> </p> <p> “In this way, issuers in the EEU countries are given the opportunity to expand the geography of fundraising and gain broad access to investment resources,” he said.
