EEC extends zero duty on phosphates for fertilizer production in EEU by 3 years

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) extended the validity of the zero import customs duty on natural phosphates used to produce mineral fertilizers in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) for three years, the EEC press office reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> This makes it possible to ensure the full utilization of mineral fertilizer production capacities in conditions of limited raw materials output in the Union and making up for its deficit through their import, says the EEC. </p> <p> </p> <p> The decision comes into force 30 calendar days after its official publication and will apply to legal relations arising since January 5, 2021.
