EEC amends origin rules for state procurement

The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has amended the rules for determining the country of origin of certain types of goods for public procurement within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU - Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia), the EEC press service reported. </p> <p> </p> <p> Now for certain types of light industry goods, paper and trolleybuses, the criteria of origin will be applied to determine the country of origin in accordance with the rules of origin in the Commonwealth of Independent States, signed on 20 November 2009. It was also decided that the document to be provided by the manufacturer for inclusion into the Eurasian register will be a CT-1 certificate of origin of goods. End </p>
