Druzhba pipeline’s southern section blocked till 21 March for reverse supply of Azeri oil to Mozyr - Transneft
<p> MINSK, Mar 17 - PrimePress. Pumping through the southern section of the Druzhba oil pipeline has been suspended until 21 March 2021 for reverse deliveries to the Mozyr oil refinery (Gomel region) of a batch of Azerbaijani crude oil (Gomel Region) of a batch of Azerbaijani oil. Igor Dyomin, spokesman for the Russian trunk pipeline operator PJSC Transneft, said. </p> <p> </p> <p> "According to the plan, oil pumping along the southern branch of Druzhba via Belarus and Ukraine to Budkovica (Slovakia) and Feneshlitka (Hungary) has been stopped until 21 March due to reverse supply of Azeri oil to Mozyr from the Odessa-Brody pipeline," Prime reports citing Dyomin as saying. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, SOCAR Trading, the trading subdivision of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), plans to fulfill its contractual obligations to deliver to Belarus about 1 million tonnes of crude oil in 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> SOCAR delivered 90,000 tonnes of Azerbaijani oil to Belarus on February 5, 2021 from Sups via Odessa’s Yuzhny port (Ukraine) and the Odessa-Brody pipeline.
