China’s Foreign Ministry grants gratuitous aid to Belarus’ MFA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China has provided gratuitous aid to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus to strengthen the latter’s material and technical base, the press-service of Belarus’ MFA said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makey and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong signed an arrangement on 2 September, according to which the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs will grant gratuitous aid to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the sake of enhancing the physical infrastructure of the Belarusian ministry. The Belarusian side expressed gratitude to Chinese colleagues for this friendly step,” the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. </p> <p> </p> <p> Diplomatic relations between Belarus and the People’s Republic of China were established on 20 January 1992. During the state visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to China in September 2016, the leaders of Belarus and China signed a joint declaration on the establishment of the highest level of relations in history: a trusting comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation.
