BUCE to hold auction due Oct 21 to sell pre-investment assets for construction of four wind farms with total capacity of 35.7 MW

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) will hold an auction on 21 October 2021 to offer pre-investment assets for the construction and operation of windmills with the total capacity of 35.7MW and annual power generation over 101GWh. The total starting price of the lots amounts to Br423,435 ($169,500 at the rate of National Bank of Belarus), the BUCE press service reports. </p> <p> </p> <p> In particular, two pre-investment assets at an initial price of Br107,033 ($42,845) each are offered in Senno and Gorodok (Vitebsk Oblast). Another two - worth Br99,052 ($39,650 thousand) and Br110,317 ($44,160) - in Smorgon and Novogrudok (Grodno Oblast). The successful bidder will be able to erect three wind turbines on each of the plots. In the first case, their total capacity will be 6 MW with an annual production of electricity of 19 GWh, while in the second case - 9.9 MW with an annual production of 25 GWh. End </p>
