BUCE reports 22.9% decline in export trading in Jan-Jul 2020 to $246m

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) says its export transactions declined by 22.9% year on year in Jan-Jul 2020 to $246 million, BUCE spokesman Roman Yaniv told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> The European Union (EU) accounted for 84% of exports of goods through BUCE worth $207m. The three largest buyers are Latvia, Lithuania and Poland with the total amount of transactions worth $140 million (down 2%). The greatest demand in these markets was for woodworking products: sawn timber, wooden blanks for packaging and wood chips. End </p>
