Belorusneft provides oil recovery enhancement services to India’s ONGC

The State Production Association Belorusneft (Rechitsa, Gomel Oblast) has implemented a project to enhance oil recovery at six fields operated by the Indian Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), reads a reported published on the portal neft.by. </p> <p> </p> <p> It is reported that relevant formulations of surfactants (surface acting agents) to enhance oil recovery have been developed by experts of Belorusneft’s R&D Institute - BelNIPIneft. The predicted increase in the oil displacement ratio for each pilot area, where Belarusian technologies will be used, averaged 30%. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, in February 2020, Belorusneft signed a contract to provide oil recovery enhancement services to ONGC by winning a tender.
