Belorusneft plans to increase new oil reserves by 2.63% to 1.755 million tonnes in 2021

Belorusneft (Rechitsa, Gomel Oblast) plans to increase its new oil reserves by 2.63% year on year in 2021 to 1.755 million tons, said head of Rechitsaneft Sergey Lasitsa. </p> <p> </p> <p> Lasitsa noted that the 2021 target for Belorusneft is 1.740 million tonnes of oil reserves. “Based on the results, the projected increase will be 1.755 million tonnes, including 0.319 million tonnes due to exploratory drilling,” Lasitsa said in a comment for the Neftyanik corporate newspaper. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus Andrei Khudyk said that Belarus plans to increase oil production on its territory from 1.7 million tonnes to 2 million tonnes per year in the coming years. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus increased oil output in 2020 by 1.2% against 2019 to 1.71 million tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belorusneft was founded in 1966.
