BelOil’s petroleum product supplies to Ukraine up 28% to 3.2m tons in Jan-Sep

The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC (BelOil), which acts as a dedicated export trader for petroleum products manufactured by Belarus’ refineries, increased deliveries of oil products (petrol, diesel fuel, jet fuel, bitumen) to Ukraine by 28% year on year in January-September 2021 up to 3.2 million tons, according to A-95 Consulting Group (Ukraine). </p> <p> </p> <p> BelOil increased its diesel fuel supplies to Ukraine by 36% year on year in January-September 2021 to 2.03 million tons. According to A-95, the market share of Belarus’ diesel fuel in Ukraine increased from 27% in Jan-Sep 2020 to 36% in Jan-Sep 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> BelOil also increased gasoline supplies in January-September 2021 by 12.5% to 697,500 tons (market share – 39%); bitumen – up 14% to 443,800 tonnes (43%), jet fuel – up 5 times to 49,500 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus reduced exports of oil products to Ukraine by 3.6% year on year in 2020, to 3.182 million tonnes. In monetary terms, exports fell by 38.2% to $1.241bn. The average export price of Belarusian oil products was $390.115 per tonne, which is 35.9% lower than in 2019. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC was established in May 2007. Belorusneft owns a 52% stake in the company, Naftan OJSC and Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC own 24% each. BelOil exports oil products produced by its shareholders, purchases and refines oil at Belarusian refineries. The company has subsidiaries in Poland, Latvia, the UK, Russia and Ukraine. End </p>
