BelOil’s petrol export to Ukraine up 10% in Nov 2021 to 94,400 tonnes

The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC (BelOil), which controls exports of Belarus’ petroleum products, increased petrol export to Ukraine by 10% year on year in Nov 2021 to 94,400 tonnes, enkorr portal reports citing data of the A-95 Consulting Group (Ukraine). </p> <p> </p> <p> “Overall, Belarusian exporters are increasing supplies for the sixth month in a row after a decline caused by turnaround maintenance at the Mozyr refinery in June-July,” the portal said. </p> <p> </p> <p> The largest suppliers of Belarusian gasoline in November 2021 were OKKO and WOG networks - 29 thousand tons (+6% yoy) and 21.4 thousand tons (+24% yoy), respectively. UPG accounted for 11.8 thousand tons, which is almost twice as much as in November last year (6.5 thousand tons). </p> <p> </p> <p> BRSM Nafta (via Katma Group) reduced its supplies of Belarusian gasoline from 12 thousand tons in November 2020 to 6.1 thousand tons in November 2021. It is noted that this company remains the only one that imports exclusively the A-92 petrol, and then uses it to produce own-made 95 octane gasoline and alternative fuel at its own mini-refineries. </p> <p> </p> <p> In November 2021, Ukraine increased imports of motor gasoline by 5% year on year to 109,000 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, BelOil increased petrol supplies to Ukraine in 2020 by 23.7% from 2019 to 854,500 tonnes. Belarus’ share in the petrol import into Ukraine increased in 2020 by 9 percentage points on the year to 78%. </p> <p> </p> <p> The increase resulted from new terms of sale of Belarusian petrol to Ukrainian traders in a package with diesel fuel under fixed-term contracts for 2020. Earlier, BelOil determined that the share of petrol in package sales should be at least 40% of the declared diesel fuel purchase volume. </p> <p> </p> <p> Ukraine increased petrol import by 5.5% year on year in 2020 to 1.1 million tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Belarusian Oil Company CJSC was established in May 2007. Belorusneft owns a 52% stake in the company, Naftan OJSC and Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC own 24% each.
