Belarus to move export trade in petroleum products to BUCE in late July

Export trading in oil products will be transferred from the common trading platform of the Belneftekhim Concern to the electronic platform of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) at the end of July 2021, the BUCE administration told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> It was previously assumed that export trading in oil products would be moved to BUCE on July 1, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> Trading in petroleum products on BUCE will be held in the prospective exchange commodities section, all types of gasoline and base oils will be traded, a BUCE representative said. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, the organizer of Belneftekhim’s common trading platform - Belarusian Oil Trading House - has been under sanctions by the U.S. Ministry of Finance since June 3, 2021. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) was established in 2004, the first trading session was held on June 2, 2005. As of June 1, 2021, 26,009 companies (including brokers’ customers), including 5.147 thousand non-residents, were accredited on the exchange. End </p>
