Belarus and Russia should remove mutual barriers, which restrict access of the parties to defence industries’ contracts and public purchases, Deputy chief of the Lukashenko Administration Dmitry Krutoy said on April 2 at a ceremony titled “Union State: Opening New Opportunities”. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Naturally, it is necessary to remove barriers and restrictions, to finally figure out what is local content and to provide access to defence industries’ contracts, to public purchases and other things," Prime reports citing Krutoy as saying. </p> <p> </p> <p> Krutoy hopes that in the near future the parties will finalize the integration economic package for the implementation of the provisions of the 1999 Union Treaty and it will bring the countries closer to creating a real common economic space.
