Belarus, Russia agree on phased resumption of transportation – Transport Ministry

Belarus and Russia have agreed on a phased resumption of transportation, the press office of the Transport Ministry of Belarus said after negotiations between the sanitary and epidemiological services of the two countries attended by Director of the Aviation Department at the Transport and Communications Ministry Artem Sikorsky on August 31, 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> The parties determined further steps to resume air traffic between the countries, and signed a protocol to work out an action plan for the phased resumption of transportation and the coordination of approaches with Rospotrebnadzor and the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> Russian representatives said that the measures taken by the civil aviation of Belarus to protect public health complied with international recommendations and standards.
