Belarus raises some cigarette prices by 1.7-3.8% Mar 1, 2021
<p> MINSK, Feb 24, - PrimePress. Belarusian manufacturers and importers will raise maximum retail prices of some brands of cigarettes on March 1, 2021 by 1.7-3.8%, according to the data of excise tax payers posted on the website of the Tax Ministry of Belarus. </p> <p> </p> <p> Prices of Kent cigarettes will go up by 2.7-3.4% to Br3-3.85 ($1.15-1.48 at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus) per pack; Vogue – by 2.4% to Br4.2 ($1.61) per pack; Korona – by 1.9-3.8% to Br1.35-1.95 ($0.52-0.75) per pack; Monte Carlo – by 1.7-1.9% to Br2.65 - 2.9 ($1.02-1.11) per pack; Winston – by 2.6-3.4% to Br3-3.9 ($1.15-1.5) per pack; PARLIAMENT Aqua Blue – by 2.6% to Br3.95 ($1.52) per pack. </p> <p> </p> <p> Prices of cigarettes, which will go on sale for the first time in March 2021, have also been set: Marlboro VISTA summer fusion – Br3.04 ($1.17); Rothmans Mix 3 in 1 – Br2.5 ($0.96). </p> <p> </p> <p> Cigarette prices were announced by three manufacturers–GTF Neman OJSC, Tabak Invest LLC and Inter Tobacco LLC–and one importer–Belarustorg. </p> <p> </p> <p> As previously reported, Belarus raised cigarette prices on January 1, 2021.
