Belarus raises export duties on crude and oil products Feb 1, 2021
<p> MINSK, Jan 28 - PrimePress. Belarus’ export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) decreased on February 1, 2021, as per government resolution No.42 of Jan 27, 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The export duty on crude oil will grow on Feb 1, 2020 to $43.8 from $38.7 per tonne. The zero duty on oil supplied under EEU FEACN codes 2709009001 and 2709009003 remains unchanged. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on light and medium distillates, benzene, toluene, xylenes and lubricating oils is up to $13.1 from $11.6 per tonne; waste oil products, vaseline, paraffin and oil bitumen – up to $43.8 from $38.7 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on commercial gasoline is raised to $13.1 from $11.6 per tonne; straight-run gasoline – up to $24 from $21.2 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on diesel fuel is up to $13.1 from $11.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on fuel oil shall rise to $43.8 from $38.7 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on liquefied natural gases remains at 0%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since October 1, 2011, following Russia, Belarus has been calculating export duties on oil and oil products by the 60/66 formula, i.e. the rate of export duties on light and dark oil products is unified and is calculated with a 0.66 factor to the rate of the duty on oil.
