Belarus’ producer prices up 1.6% in Apr 2021, up 5.8% in Jan-Apr 2021
<p> MINSK, May 14 - PrimePress. Belarusian producer prices rose by 1.6% month on month in Apr 2021 and by 5.8% in Jan-Apr 2021, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) told PrimePress. </p> <p> </p> <p> The prices of investment goods rose in April 2021 by 1.5% month on month and by 3.3% compared to the level of December 2020; for intermediate goods by 1.6% and 6.4% respectively; and for consumer goods by 0.4% and 3%. </p> <p> </p> <p> Agricultural producer prices increased in Apr 2021 by 1.1% month on month, up 6.3% since early 2021; crop prices – down 1.4% month on month, up 12.6% since early 2021; livestock prices – down 1%, up 4.6%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Construction prices grew by 4.5% month on month in Apr 2021, up 5% from the Dec 2020 level. Prices of construction and installation works increased by 4.8% and 2.7%, respectively; prices of machinery and equipment increased by 1% and 6.5%, respectively; prices of other works and expenses grew by 14.6% and by 5.8%, respectively. </p> <p> </p> <p> Freight tariffs (all means of transportation) increased by 0.2% month on month in Apr 2021, up 4.3% from the level of Dec 2020. </p> <p> </p> <p> Telecom tariffs for entities and private entrepreneurs remained unchanged month on month in Apr 2021 and grew by 0.1% in Jan-Apr 2021.
