Belarus’ number of broadband internet users up 1.4% in Jan-Sep 2020 to 2.245 million

The number of subscribers using fixed broadband Internet service in Belarus expanded by 1.4% year to date in January-September 2020 to 2.245 million as of Oct 1, 2020, the Ministry of Communications of Belarus said in a release. </p> <p> </p> <p> The number of IP-TV subscribers increased by 5.9% to 2.33 million in January-September. </p> <p> </p> <p> The number of subscribers connected to multiservice IMS platform increased by 5.3% to 3.56 million subscribers. The number of subscribers connected via GPON technology increased by 4.7% to 2.71 million. </p> <p> </p> <p> Three companies provide mobile communication services in Belarus: A1, Mobile TeleSystems, and BeST (life:). Data transmission services based on the LTE network are provided by beCloud, an infrastructure operator. End </p>
