Belarus’ New Oil Company postpones bidding for supply of 883,000 tonnes of fuel oil through St. Petersburg sea port until March 10, 2021

The New Oil Company CJSC (Belarusian oil trader) has rescheduled for March, 10, 2021 electronic bidding for the export sale of 883,000 tonnes of fuel oil produced by the Mozyr Oil Refinery OJSC (Gomel Oblast) or through the St. Petersburg sea port, the Belarusian Oil Trading House (trading site operator) reports on its website. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The Belarusian Oil Trading House notifies of the postponement of electronic bidding for the sale on a long-term basis of industrial fuel oil (Mazut-100) produced by the Mozyr Oil Refinery JSC in the amount of 883,000 tonnes to March 10, 2021,” says the operator. </p> <p> </p> <p> The New Oil Company has previously postponed bidding on this batch of fuel oil from February 18 to February 23, 2021. In late January 2021, the bidding terms provided for the delivery of this batch through the Latvian BLB terminal. </p> <p> </p> <p> Under the new bidding terms, the fuel oil delivery is scheduled on FOB terms through the terminal of PN JSC in the St. Petersburg sea port. The monthly shipment is planned as follows: March - 95,000 tons, April - 97,200 tons, May - 54,200 tons, June – 53,000 tonnes; July – 73,700 tonnes; August – 68,600 tonnes; September – 63,900 tonnes; October – 78,800 tonnes; November – 94,300 tonnes; December – 114,300 tonnes. </p> <p> </p> <p> Belarusian Transport and Communications Minister Alexei Avramenko and Russian Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev signed on February 19, 2021 an agreement on transshipment of Belarusian oil products through Russian ports. The agreement provides for transshipment of over 9.8 million tonnes of fuel oil, gasoline and oil produced by Belarusian enterprises in Russian seaports on the Baltic Sea in 2021-2023, including up to 3.5 million tonnes in 2021, 3.2 million tonnes in 2022 and 3.1 million tonnes in 2023. </p> <p> </p> <p> Russian Secretary of State, Deputy Minister of Transport Dmitry Zverev said on February 19 that the start of deliveries of Belarusian oil products to Russian ports was expected in March 2021. According to Zverev, the agreement specifies the ports that will handle the cargoes–Ust-Luga, St. Petersburg oil terminal and others. “Ust-Luga is in talks with the designated railway operator Atlant and, accordingly, with the Belarusian Oil Company, New Oil Company, as representatives of the shipper,” Zverev said. </p> <p> </p> <p> The New Oil Company CJSC was established in Belarus in March 2020 by a group of private investors to organize alternative supplies of oil and export of oil products.
