Sergei Rumas was appointed prime minister on August 18, 2018. The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus approved his appointment on October 5, 2018. </p> <p> </p> <p> “We always announce a new composition of the government after the registration of the incumbent president as a candidate.
