Belarus may accede to Russia’s OSAGO third-party liability insurance for vehicle owners
<p> MINSK, Jun 16 - PrimePress. Russia’s third-party liability insurance for vehicle owners (OSAGO) may become unified for citizens of Russia and Belarus. This was discussed at the 60th session of the parliamentary assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, according to a report on the official website of the State Duma. </p> <p> </p> <p> At the moment, contracts of domestic insurance, concluded in one country, are not valid in the other. The vehicle owner is forced to buy an additional Green Card international insurance certificate for at least 15 days or buy motor vehicle insurance in the state of entry: in Belarus - at least 15 days, in Russia - at least five days.
