Belarus lowers export duties on oil and oil products 1 Oct 2021
<p> MINSK, Oct 4 - PrimePress. Belarus’ export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will reduce on 1 Oct 2021, in accordance with government resolution No.556 of 30 Sep 2021 posted on the National Legal Internet Portal. </p> <p> </p> <p> The export duty on crude oil will reduce on 1 Oct 2021 to $62.8 from $64.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on light and medium distillates, benzene, toluene, xylenes and lubricating oils will reduce to $18.8 from $19.3 per tonne; waste oil products, vaseline, paraffin and oil bitumen – to $62.8 from $64.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on commercial gasoline will be reduced to $18.8 from $19.3 per tonne; straight-run gasoline – to $34.5 from $35.5 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on diesel fuel will reduce to $18.8 from $19.3 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on fuel oil will reduce to $62.8 from $64.6 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> The duty on liquefied natural gases is set at $70.4 per tonne. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since 1 October 2011, following Russia, Belarus has been calculating export duties on oil and oil products by the 60/66 formula, i.e. the rate of export duties on light and dark oil products is unified and is calculated with a 0.66 factor to the rate of the duty on oil.
