Belarusian life:) telecom operator reports a 0.1% yyear-on-year decrease in revenues in January-September 2020 to Br100.9 million ($39.1 million at the rate of the National Bank of Belarus), reads the quarterly report by its parent company Turkcell Group. </p> <p> </p> <p> In the third quarter of 2020 alone, the company’s revenues increased by 1.4% year on year to Br35.8 million ($13.9 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> EBITDA decreased in Jan-Sep 2020 by 14.2% to Br24.1 million ($9.3 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> The company’s net loss decreased in Jan-Sep 2020 by 4.7% to Br24.1 million ($9.3m). The net loss in 3Q20 was down 4.7% yoy to Br7.1million ($2.8 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> The operator reduced capital expenditures in Jan-Sep 2020 by 17.1% to Br35.5 million ($13.8 million). In Q3, capital expenditures increased by 36.2% yoy to Br15.8 million ($6.1 million). </p> <p> </p> <p> The company numbered 1.1 million active subscribers in annual terms (did not change); the total subscriber base decreased by 6.7% to 1.4 million. </p> <p> </p> <p> Life:) continues to increase the number of 4G users in its client base. The share of 4G users reached 61% of the quarterly number of active users as of the end of the 3nd quarter of 2020 (57% in Q2). Life:) continued to promote its digital services, since the use of digital services leads to increased loyalty and increased generation of ARPU (Average Revenue Per User). The Music, Games and TV+ services were the main factors in growth of revenues from digital services in the first quarter, Turkcell Group says. </p> <p> </p> <p> BeST CJSC (life:)) was licensed to provide communication services on March 24, 2005, and began commercial operation of its network on December 21, 2005.
