Housing output in Belarus expanded 18.1% on the year in January-August 2021 to 2.52 million square metres, the National Statistics Committee said in a statement. </p> <p> </p> <p> For families officially registered as households that need to have their housing conditions improved 1.04m sq metres (up 31.2%) of dwellings was commissioned in Jan-Aug 2021, or 41.3% of total housing output. </p> <p> </p> <p> Housing completion in the countryside amounted to 730,900 square metres, (29% of the total output), up 7.7% yoy.
